Shuttle Box Replication9/21/2023 Espial Upon The Blaberus discoids Shared Behavior and Their Response To Conspecifics Group dynamics are important for understanding how animals use collective decision-making to solve problems. From prior studies it has been concluded that the Blaberus discoidalis has an affinity for shade in contrast to Illumination, but whether that idiosyncratic behavior is stable when given a nexus of familiarity among members of its species was yet to be studied. In this article, we present the collective shade response and display the stability of the General behavior when presented with a semblance of group conformity.
